I bought this to create cloches over the broccoli and brussels I’m growing. This is the business far better than a popular agricultural mesh I also bought. Firstly, at 3m it is a very useful width. It is marked at 1.5m permitting you to line the mesh up accurately. It also has peg/clip holes on each side (and the middle). It can be easily cut without fraying and will tolerate a degree of snagging without ripping. In addition, unlike some shade mesh I see other allotment holders using, this lets plenty of light in and rainwater while protecting the plants from downpours and strong winds. At 50m in length there is plenty for all sorts of jobs. Excellent value for money.

I have only just used this as it is netting to keep wild birds from my chickens because of bird flu so it was a big job for me but it is done now so that if I have to keep them in they have a nice big pen to run in instead of just being locked in their shed. A friend suggested I buy scaffold netting as compared to chicken netting it is very reasonable in price
